Agartala, 8th September 2024: The Pradesh BJP today claimed that a section of the opposition political party is attempting to provoke unemployed youths and create confusion over the JRBT Group D results.
Pradesh BJP spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty expressed gratitude to the state government during a press conference at the state BJP office on Sunday. He noted that the state government had already announced that the results of the Group D exams would be published on September 7-8, and accordingly, the results have been released.
“However, some in the opposition are trying to mislead the unemployed in various ways. Some even claim that it takes 4 to 5 years to complete this recruitment process,” said Chakraborty.
He emphasized that whenever the BJP government undertakes a recruitment process, their goal is to ensure that no one loses their job after securing one. “The recruitment process is conducted with complete transparency. From 1988 to 1993, during the coalition period, ministers were known to hand out job offers at marriage houses, indicating a lack of a transparent recruitment policy. For instance, some recruitment processes were carried out in the Agartala Municipal Corporation during that time. However, after the formation of the Left Front government, those jobs were revoked,” added the BJP leader.
Chakraborty also stated that during the Left Front government’s tenure, many people in the state lost their jobs due to corruption and the absence of transparency. “A prime example is the loss of 10,323 jobs due to corruption in the recruitment of teachers and the fire service department. Since the publication of the merit list yesterday, we have observed attempts to create confusion among the unemployed,” he said.
He further clarified that 63 vacant posts could not be filled as no suitable candidates were found based on merit for those positions.
