BJP determine to present two lotuses to PM Modi in LS election: CM

Agartala: April 22. Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday stated that his party is determined to present ‘two lotuses’ from the state to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha election slated to be held this year.

Chief Minister Dr Saha along with, BJP national secretary Dr. Asha Lakra, former Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb, former deputy chief minister Jishnu Dev Varma, BJP Tripura unit president Rajib Bhattacharya, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik has chaired a meeting of Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan (Booth empowerment campaign) held in this afternoon at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan.

On Facebook, Chief Minister has written, “Today on this auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya and Bhagwan Parashuram Jayanti, in the dignified presence of Dr. Asha Lakra Ji, All India Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party, I have addressed a one-day workshop focusing on Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections”.

He further wrote, “In the coming Lok Sabha elections, we are determined to present two lotuses from Tripura to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji by strengthening the organization up to the booth level”.

He hopes that all executives will take a stronger role in focusing organizational work more intently towards achieving this goal.

In the meeting, all the cabinet ministers, MLAs and other BJP leaders starting from booth levels participated.
