Agartala, 24th May 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday held an organizational meeting of its Mahila Morcha at the party headquarters in Agartala to discuss upcoming programmes and strategies aimed at highlighting the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre.
The BJP functions through seven organizational wings or Morchas, and regular meetings are conducted with elected representatives of these wings to ensure effective implementation of programmes and policies introduced by both the Central and State governments.
The meeting was attended by State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee, Mahila Morcha President Mimi Majumder, BJP Vice President Tapas Bhattacharjee, along with several other party leaders and office-bearers.
Addressing the meeting, Rajib Bhattacharjee stated that the Narendra Modi-led government is set to complete 13 years in office soon. In view of the occasion, discussions were held on various initiatives to be undertaken by the Mahila Morcha to showcase before the public the achievements and welfare programmes implemented during the past 12 years under the BJP government.
Apart from programme planning, the meeting also focused on several organizational matters and ways to further strengthen the Mahila Morcha at different levels across the state.
The State BJP President further informed that a review meeting related to the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Training Camp is likely to be held in Kolkata between May 28 and May 30.
