Agartala: July 29. The former minister and CITU state president Manik Dey today claimed that BJP has established a dictatorial regime in Tripura along with in entire country.CITU State President Manik Dey said this while addressing the state conference of ‘Tripura MriShilpi Sramik Union’ at CITU State Office on Friday.

“There is no rule of law in the state. A reign of terror has been established in the state during the BJP and IPFT coalition government. This government has destroyed the rule of law. But there is no room for justice. If you go to the police station, even the case is not taken. And this autocratic regime is not only in the state of Tripura. This type of dictatorial regime has been established throughout the country”, Manik claimed.

He further alleged that the present government is not fulfilling any of their promises it made before coming into power. “Ordinary poor people who used to earn bread and butter by sitting on the side of the road in the city, the government has vandalized and removed their shops from the side of the road. But it was not right to hand them over without making alternative arrangements”, he said.Manik lashed out at the government claiming that the government had even demolished rest room where the laborers used to take rest after work all day which was demolished by using bulldozer. Now the workers are standing on the streets ignoring the natural calamities. There is no place to sit. But BJP is again occupying government space and opening party offices.“People don’t want this Bulldozer government because they want to establish a reign of terror in Tripura by using bulldozer”, he said.
