Agartala: August 30. Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman today lashed out at the BJP claiming that democratic and constitutional rights that the Congress had given to the people of the country were murdered by the current BJP government.
He said, “Congress must be strengthened to overthrow the rule of barbarism. Only then will the country move forward. The constitution will operate”. MLA Roy Barman said this while participating in a meeting organized by the Panisagar Block Congress Committee on Tuesday. He also said that the democratic rights and constitutional rights that the Congress had given to the people of the country have been completely endangered by the current BJP government.“This right has to be earned by fighting against this government”, said Roy Barman.
Criticizing the government, he also said that the BJP wants to run on the basis of every power of the people. But Congress wants to move forward with people’s love.
“Congress could have won all four seats in the by-elections. But the Congress did not want to win by looting votes. The BJP has elected the Chief Minister through Chappa voting”, said Roy Bamran.
