Agartala, 9th December 2025:    Tripura BJP Janajati Morcha leader and state secretary Bipin Debbarma said the Tipra Motha Party is steadily weakening and is unlikely to retain power in the TTAADC in 2026.

Speaking to reporters, he alleged that recent attacks on BJP workers reflect Tipra Motha’s declining position. Debbarma announced a mega joining rally on December 13 in front of Rabindra Bhavan, where over 5,000 tribal supporters from across the state are expected to join the BJP.

He stated that observers have been appointed in every mandal to ensure smooth coordination and claimed the surge in new supporters shows growing tribal trust in the BJP.

Debbarma further accused Tipra Motha workers of repeatedly targeting BJP members and said such actions reveal the party’s frustration. Despite being alliance partners in the council, he alleged that Tipra Motha has been obstructing BJP events.

He insisted that the BJP will continue its activities democratically and is not deterred by political violence, asserting that Tipra Motha’s popularity is rapidly falling.
