BJP to contest ADC’s Village Council elections with allies: Rajib Bhattacharjee

Agartala, 3rd March 2025:   The BJP will contest the upcoming autonomous district council elections in alliance with its partner parties, announced state president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharya at the organizational meeting of Krishnapur Mandal today. This announcement comes ahead of a significant public meeting on the occasion of the second anniversary of the BJP government.

The BJP’s organizational meeting was held at the Chakmaghat Community Hall initiated by BJP 29-Krishnapur Mandal. The event was attended by MLA and Minister Bikash Debbarma, BJP state General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, Mandal President Dhananjay Das and other invited BJP leaders.

The meeting commenced with Bhattacharjee hoisting the BJP flag. Following this, Bhattacharjee inaugurated the day’s program by lighting the lamp at the Community Hall. The main event featured party workers and supporters, where Bhattacharjee urged everyone to attend the public meeting organized on March 09 at Swami Vivekananda Ground here to mark the second anniversary of the BJP’s second tenure of government.

During the event, Minister Bikash Debbarma delivered a strong critique of the CPIM government. Rajib Bhattacharya reiterated the BJP’s commitment to contesting the upcoming autonomous district council elections in collaboration with its partner parties.
