MP Kriti Devi Debbarman launches 100 days TB campaign with NTEP Tripura

Agartala, 3rd March 2025:   Lok Sabha MP Kriti Devi Debbarman has joined hands with the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) Tripura to launch the 100 Days TB Campaign in the East Tripura parliamentary constituency. The announcement was made on Monday at her palace.

Debbarman has committed to adopting TB patients as ‘Nikshay Mitra’ on International Women’s Day 2025. An official from NTEP, Tripura, stated, “TB patients will receive mental support and nutrition support to prevent social stigma. On International Women’s Day, TB patients will be adopted. There are some plans in place.”

The initiative aims to provide comprehensive support to TB patients, addressing both their physical and mental health needs, while also working to eliminate the social stigma associated with the disease.
