BLO attacked at Bishalgarh

Agartala, December 16, 2022: A group of miscreants attacked the house of BLO Uday Dhar of Booth No. 16/21 at Raghunathpur on the night of Thursday last and even his son, who is a board exam candidate was also not spared.

It was alleged that the ruling party workers in the area filed a complaint to remove the names of some local opposition party workers from the voter list.BLO Uday Dhar sent notices to those whose names were alleged to be deleted as per the instructions of the Election Commission.

It is also alleged that his house was attacked because of why he did not remove the name of the opposition party workers from the voter list without notice.CPIM Bishalgarh Divisional Secretary Partha Pratim Majumder strongly condemned the incident on Thursday night.

On the other hand, BJP Bishalgarh mandal president Sushanta Deb said that this incident is an attempt by the CPIM party to humiliate the BJP party as no karyakarta is connected with any such incident.Deb is of the opinion that the incident is a matter of administration, the administration will conduct a proper investigation.
