Agartala, 23rd March 2025: A blood donation camp was organized in Kakraban today to commemorate the 95th Martyrdom Day of revolutionary heroes Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru. The event was initiated by the DYFI Udaipur Divisional Committee, where 25 individuals including a young woman voluntarily donated blood.
The camp was held at the CPI(M) Kakraban local office, a building that bears the scars of multiple arson attacks allegedly carried out by ruling party forces. Despite the challenges and the damaged state of the office—with burnt walls, broken doors and shattered windows, the DYFI successfully conducted the camp showcasing resilience and determination.
The event witnessed participation from the youth, undeterred by the adversities. To encourage the donors included CPI(M) State Secretariat member Ratan Bhowmik, Sub-Divisional Secretary Dilip Datta, former youth leader Nikhil Das, Shyama Prasad Goswami, DYFI Divisional Secretary Shubha Chakraborty and President Farooq Ahmed were present. Their presence added significance to the occasion, inspiring the participants and honoring the legacy of the martyrs.
