Board toppers felicitated at Bamutia; Minister Tinku Roy calls students to be self-reliant

Agartala, July 11, 2023: A felicitation was given to the students who passed the secondary and higher secondary examinations under Bamutia assembly constituency on Tuesday. The reception was organized at Baidyanath Committee Hall, Gandhigram. Minister Tinku Roy, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, former MLA Krishnadhan Das and others were present at the reception.

Speaking at the felicitation ceremony, minister Roy said that people will remember education and knowledge to work for the progress of society and village. Students should pay attention to that.

He also said that in the new national education policy, importance has been given to self-reliance in addition to education because Tripura state is rich in natural resources. Tripura ranks second in rubber production in the country. One lakh metric tons of rubber is produced in this state. And Tripura also leads in bamboo and agar production. In the coming days, the government is working with importance to make the youth self-reliant by using these resources properly.

The minister also said to the students that it is not enough to focus only on government jobs. He also said that special attention should be paid to how the country and the state can be self-reliant. Bamutia Mandal and Sanjyukta Morcha organized a felicitation for the students of the academic year 2022-23.
