Agartala, 23rd November 2024: A vagrant’s body was discovered this morning near Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala sparking a sensation among the local community. Upon receiving the news, police promptly arrived at the scene, recovered the body and sent it to the hospital for an autopsy.
West Agartala Police Station’s SI Jiban Chandra Das reported that passersby initially spotted the individual lying by the roadside and immediately notified the authorities. The deceased has been identified as Chandan Chowdhury (60), who had been living near Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan. According to SI Das, Chowdhury had been ill for some time.
“The body was found this morning, and we have sent it for an autopsy to determine the cause of death,” SI Das stated. The locality awaits the autopsy results to understand the circumstances surrounding Chowdhury’s demise.
