Bru Songrongma Mthoh blockades road indefinitely in Kanchanpur

Agartala: July 26. The Bru Songrongma Mthoh and its branch organization has blockaded Kanchanpur to Hmunpui road and Anandabazar to Kawnpui road demanding three charters point of demand including issuance of permission to reconstruct Sibralkhong Mandir at Betlinghchhip hill.

The Bru Songrongma Mthoh has called indefinite road blockade demanding expedite arrest to the communal violated persons, issuance of permission to reconstruct Sibralkhong Mandir at Betlinghchhip hill, to immediate stop the absorb, oppress and atrocities upon Bru community at Jampui hill.

Meanwhile the SDPO Kanchanpur to the Sub-divisional Magistrate of Kanchanpur seeking immediate depute two Executive Magistrates to take action as per law in connection with the said road blockade.

“This is to inform that Bru Songrongma Mthoh and its branch organizations called indefinite road blockage from 26/07/2022 in Kanchanpur to Hmunpui road and Anandabazar to Kawnpui road. There is chances of violation of law and order. In this regard, you are requested to depute 02 (two) Executive Magistrates to take action as per law in connection with the said road blockage and also request to declare Kanchanpur HS (+2 stage) School and Anandabazar Class XII School as temporary detention centre to keep the detainee who will be arrested in c/w the said road blockage. You are also requested to provide refreshment and drinking water to the detainee at the detention centres if required”, the letter reads.
