BSF apprehends 03 Bangladeshi nationals

Agartala, 11th September 2024:  Border Security Force deployed in Tripura have detained three Bangladeshi nationals from two separate locations in the state.

According to BSF press release, acting on specific intelligence two Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended in the area of BOP  Murtichera in Unakoti District , while they were trying to enter  Indian territory by negotiating border fence. BSF in a press release said that the apprehended individuals are residents of Madaripur District, Bangladesh.

BSF said that in another operation on 11th September 2024, BSF troops apprehended 01 Bangladeshi national in the area of BOP Danpur under Sepahijela District, while he was trying to negotiate border fence from Bangladesh side. Apprehended Bangladeshi national is resident of District Cummilla, Bangladesh. “BSF has stepped up domination and operation along the border in Tripura to prevent infiltration/ exfiltration and trans-border”, it said.
