BSF arrested a Bangladeshi national at Jatrapur

Agartala, 13th July 2024:  On specific information that 03 Bangladeshi were present ahead of fence in area of BOP New Nidaya for crossing over to the Indian side on Friday, a special patrol was sent in the suspected area. 

At about 5.30 PM on seeing the patrolling party, Bangladeshi nationals hiding in the jungle started running away towards Bangladesh village -Nawapur.

The patrolling party chased the Bangladeshi illegal immigrants and managed to arrested one Bangladeshi National identified as Robiul Islam (35)of Broshonnassi village in Khulna District. Interrogation by BSF is in progress.

BSF has stepped up its drive against such illegal Bangladeshi immigrants and all field formations are actively breaking down the nexus of touts in the bordering areas.
