BSF conducts civic action programme at Chillapthar High School

Agartala, 29th November 2025:   A Civic Action Programme was organized by 43 Battalion of BSF at Chillapthar High School in the area of BOP Rajnagar under South Tripura District today. Aloke Kumar Chakraborty, IG BSF Tripura Frontier chaired the programme in the presence of M Ravindar, Commandant 43 Battalion of BSF & civil dignitaries.                                                                                     

At the outset a cultural show was presented by Chillapathar High School followed by Jawahar Navoday Vidyalaya students. During the programme, 33 motorised sewing machines under Skill development programme were distributed to ladies. Running shoes, track suits, School bags were distributed to the youths who participated in the pre recruitment training organized by 43 Battalion of BSF.                                  

In addition 06 Computers with all accessories were donated to basic computer training centre at IC Nagar HS School under skill development programme.

Acknowledging the cooperation of the border population, IG BSF reiterated BSF’s commitment towards the infrastructural development in border area , training of youths, skill development for  self reliance of the border population.
