BSF detains seven Bangladeshi nationals

Agartala, 1st September 2024:  The Border Security Force deployed in Gomati District of Tripura have detained seven Bangladeshi nationals when they were entered in the state illegally on Sunday.

In a press statement, BSF said that on September 01 on specific information of BSF, a joint Mobile Check Post with sister agency was laid in depth area of BOP Bhatiabari under under Karbook of Gomati District.

“…..joint Mobile Check Post party apprehended 07 Bangladeshi nationals which includes 01 Male, 05 females and 01 child. Apprehended BD nationals are from different parts of Bangladesh i.e. Khulna, Feni, Dhaka, Munshiganj, Norai District. Preliminary Questioning is in progress. BSF has stepped up domination and vigil along the border in Tripura to prevent infiltration and trans border crimes”, said BSF.
