Agartala Nov 01: A cycle rally was flagged-off on Tuesday morning under the initiative of BSF, Tripura Frontier from ICP, Agartala. IG BSF Tripura Frontier, Sumit Sharan flagged of the cycle rally that will cover around 2500 km from Agartala-Kolkata.
Talking to the reporters Sumit Sharan said, “Around 19 BSF Jawans are participating in the Cycle rally that started from ICP Agartala today and will end on December 12, 2022 at the Tagore Villa BSF Camp in Kolkata”.
“The rally will specially cover the border roads with an aim to generate patriotism among the people and also to make them aware about the contribution of BSF in maintaining peace and harmony in the state and country”, he added.Sharan further added that the rally will further strengthen the friendship between both the countries, India and Bangladesh.
