BTVM inaugurates advanced Composite Skill Lab for future-ready learning

Agartala, 20th June 2026:   Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir, Narsingarh, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Composite Skill Lab in accordance with the latest CBSE Skill Education guidelines and the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The initiative aims to promote experiential learning and equip students with future-ready skills.

The newly established facility, named “K. V. Gopalkrishnan Tech Innovation Lab”, was dedicated on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Late K. V. Gopalkrishnan, Founder Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra.

With this launch, the school has become the first in Tripura to introduce a fully integrated Composite Skill Lab featuring Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Drone Technology, Coding Platforms, Digital Innovation Tools and Smart Learning Infrastructure.

The lab is designed to encourage creativity, innovation, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities among students by connecting classroom learning with practical experiences.

A special presentation highlighting the life, philosophy and contributions of Late K. V. Gopalkrishnan was also organised. Guests, media representatives and parents attended the inauguration programme.
