Agartala, 17th April 2025: A group of candidates has called for the immediate publication of the waiting list in the police constable recruitment process. Today, they gathered to make a direct and fervent appeal to the Chief Minister urging transparency in the selection process.
Speaking to media personnel here, one of the examinees outlined the situation. The notification for police constable recruitment was issued in 2022, and the selection process involved written, physical, and oral tests conducted in stages. Recently, the merit list for the post was published. However, discrepancies were alleged, as reports surfaced of several individuals securing jobs through different exams.
The candidates have demanded that individuals who fail to join their posts within the scheduled time frame should be excluded from the list. They emphasized that such exclusions would allow deserving candidates on the waiting list an opportunity to secure employment.
