Cattle theft sparks panic at Rajib Colony, Charilam

Agartala, 4th October 2025 :  In a daring overnight theft, a group of unidentified miscreants broke into a household in Rajib Colony, located in the Charilam Aralia village, and fled with two cattle. The incident occurred late last night and has since triggered widespread concern among local residents.

According to reports, the thieves targeted the home of Khokan Sarkar, a resident of Rajib Colony. The family found the theft early this morning when they noticed the cattle missing and immediately alerted the police. Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter.

The sudden breach of security has left villagers anxious, with many calling for increased patrolling and surveillance in the area to prevent further incidents.
