Agartala: April 01. Tripura High Court Chief Justice T Amarnath Goud today visited the Central Correctional Home. Today afternoon, he went to the central correctional home to inspect the overall facility and work of the home.
The guard of honor was provided by the prison guards. Sub-Divisional Magistrate Binay Bhushan Das welcomed the Chief Justice with a wreath. The chief justice and other officials look into the management of the penitentiary, including the pros and cons of the inmates. On the issue, SS Dey, Advocate General said, “It is a periodical visit. And time to time we visit the correctional home across the state. Yesterday Chief Justice said he will visit Central Correctional Home and so we all came here. It’s a regular visit to inspect the work”.
