Agartala, 2nd June 2024:  Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday urged the youths working outside of the state to return to Tripura in order to make it an ideal state.

Dr. Saha said this during a felicitation program for meritorious students who achieved success in their secondary and higher secondary examinations this year, organized by the 8 Town Baradowali Mandal.

He said, “To those who have passed the board exams and those who didn’t, I want to emphasize that failure is the pillar of success. There is no substitute for hard work, and counseling is also necessary. In India, students are under pressure to achieve high marks, which sadly leads some to commit suicide. Society also contributes to this pressure. Students must talk about their stress to relieve themselves. The program ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha,’ launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to keep students free from pressure. Students should engage in meditation, listen to the Gayatri Mantra, and other similar activities.”

Dr. Saha emphasized that education is the foundation of students’ success and that it can eradicate negative thinking.

“Young generations are the future of Tripura. In many other states, youths from Tripura are working in prominent positions, such as in AIIMS hospitals. I urge these youths to return to Tripura. Many are also working abroad. I encourage them to come back to Tripura to make the state an ideal place. We are making all necessary arrangements,” said Dr. Saha.

He also noted that due to PM Modi’s ‘Vikshit Bharat by 2047’ vision, today’s students will benefit, making this election very crucial.  Dr. Saha also called on students and society to stand against early marriages.

“Why do early marriages occur in Tripura? North and Unakoti districts have the highest number of early marriages. We must think about this and protest against it. Early marriage brings many problems,” he added. During the program Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, Corporator Ratna Datta and others were present.
