CM assures proper investigation into discovery of human skull at Kalyan Sagar Dighi

Agartala, July 13: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Thursday assured that the government will do a proper investigation into the human skull recover incident from Kalyan Sagar Dighi in Tripura Sundari Temple at Gomati District.

While replying to a question of Leader of Opposition Animesh Debbarma on the recovery of human skull, Chief Minister who also holds the Home Department said that Police are investigating the incident of this matter.

“The district magistrate of Gomati has given a preliminary report on this issue. The CCTV cameras around the temple have already been checked. Kalyan Sagar water body were also searched and today also it will be search by our expert underwater divers from TSR. The police is conducting a thorough investigation to find out the real mystery behind the incident”, said Chief Minister on the fourth day of the budget session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly on Thursday.

After that, the Chief Minister also assured that necessary steps are being taken to find out the real mystery of the whole incident.

“Forensic department are also engaged with this work. And I am assuring proper investigation into the matter. Apart from this, a ban has been imposed on the movement of common people and performing other traditional rituals in Kalyan Sagar for the next 42 days in accordance with religious customs”, added CM.
