Agartala: May 30. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has directed the officials to complete Township projects under Tripura Urban Planning and Development Authority (TUDA) expeditiously and suggested to keep rainwater harvesting system in the flats being constructed under the township project.
“Township projects under Tripura Urban Planning and Development Authority (TUDA) should be completed expeditiously while maintaining quality. The problems in the implementation of all these township projects should be resolved quickly and rainwater harvesting system should be present in the flats being constructed in the township project”, said CM.
It is to be noted that the township project is going on near Vivekananda Market in Kaman Choumuhani and Kunjaban area of Agartala.
In the meeting, the current status of various township projects of Tripura Urban Planning and Development Authority and various initiatives taken for the development of the city area were discussed in detail.
Secretary of Urban Development Department Abhishek Singh, Secretary of Information and Technology Department Kiran Gitte, Secretary of the Chief Minister Dr. P K Chakraborty, TUDA member Swapan Saha along with senior officers of various departments were present.
In the review meeting, the Chief Minister said that the people of the state have a tendency to buy flats. So he directed the department to promote the flats being constructed in Agartala under TUDA.
He also suggested that these flats should be subject to certain conditions, so that ownership of the flats is properly maintained.
Chief Minister emphasized in the meeting to utilize the Prime Minister Gati Shakti scheme in implementing the projects and directed the concerned officials to speedily complete the work of the lighthouse project under construction in Golchakkar area of Agartala.
The meeting also discussed the appointment of economic advisers to conduct its operations in a well-planned manner.
