Agartala: August 01. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Monday has directed officials and workers working for ‘Light House Project’ to complete the project within stipulated time.CM Dr Saha today visited Border Gol Chakkar area where 1000 flats are being constructed under Light House Project.
Later speaking with reporters, Dr Saha said, “For middle class and poor people 1000 flats would be constructed here and I came here to review the work. I have directed them for the speedy completion of the work as soon as possible as I have meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in that meeting I have to speak about the matter of Light House Project”, he said.
He further said that that on 1st January of 2021 PM Modi inaugurated the project. “I came here to inspect the work and received information that the work is getting delayed. We discussed regarding the matter with other officials. I have directed to work in a mission mode and in a speedy way. This is a dream project of PM Modi and by any means this should be completed in a proper time. I hope they will complete the work in a proper time. More than 900 people paid their advance money. These flats will solve the problems of poor people. They are using a technology based in New Zealand”, he said.
