CM Dr Manik Saha celebrates victory in 8-Town Bardowali AC

Agartala, March 14: The coalition government of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the IPFT has been re-established for the second time in the recently concluded assembly elections. The government’s five-year tenure begins with 33 seats.

Ahead of the 13th assembly elections, there was speculation as to who was going to be the chief ministerial face. But as expected Dr Manik Saha won from 8-Town Bardowali assembly Constituency. The Delhi High Command is pinning its hopes on Dr. Manik Saha for the Chief Ministership because he is a dentist and honest person.

For five long years, there were many complaints about the functioning of the BJP-IPFT coalition government. There were many complaints against the former chief minister. Dr Manik Saha changed the face of the chief minister for 6 months before the assembly elections.

After the announcement of the election results on March 2, there was a storm in the political circles about who will be the chief minister. Pratima Bhowmik was also a claimant. But Dr Manik Saha was passed by the good margin of votes in the legislators meeting.

Modi, Shah and Nadda put their trust in Manik Saha to ensure that things were run properly for the people for five years. And Delhi did not have to think of putting a stamp on Manik Saha’s name. Dentist Manik Saha left Delhi after the swearing-in ceremony as Chief Minister.

After thanking the President, Vice-President, Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, and State President of BJP, the Chief Minister Dr Saha participated in the victory procession from in front of the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan on Tuesday at around 12 noon.

On this day, a victory festival was held by 8-Town Bardowali Mandal committee where majority of women were at the forefront of victory celebrations. The winning candidate of the area and Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha participated in this victory festival. Chief Minister along with party workers marched on foot in various routes of Agartala city.

Speaking to media personnel, the Chief Minister dedicated the Bharatiya Janata Party’s second victory to the karyakartas. The BJP-led government was established for the second time due to the tireless work of the karyakartas. He also thanked the people of the state.

Dr Saha claimed that the government has worked in Tripura for the last five years on the philosophy, guidance and footsteps of the Prime Minister. Government facilities have been extended to the last person of the society. He said that the government of Bharatiya Janata Party will work with development in mind for the next five years.

The chief minister was accompanied by BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, Mayor Dipak Majumder, BJYM state president Nabadal Banik, vice-president Vikki Prasad and others. On this day, the Chief Minister was seen playing with saffron coloured powder.
