CM Dr Manik Saha commends Dharmendra Pradhan’s role in transforming India’s education sector

Agartala, 25th July 2026:    Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has praised Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for his visionary leadership in driving transformative reforms in India’s education sector, stating that his efforts have laid a strong and future-oriented foundation for the country’s academic and skill development landscape.

In a message of appreciation, Dr. Saha said that under Pradhan’s stewardship, India’s education system has undergone a significant transformation, moving beyond conventional policy reforms towards creating an inclusive, self-reliant and globally competitive framework.

“Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan Ji has provided visionary leadership, giving India’s education system a renewed sense of direction and purpose. His guidance has helped build a robust, inclusive and self-reliant educational ecosystem that is well-equipped to meet future global challenges,” the Chief Minister said.

Dr. Saha highlighted Pradhan’s key role in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, describing it as a landmark initiative that successfully blends India’s rich cultural and intellectual heritage with modern educational practices.

“The implementation of NEP 2020 has effectively connected India’s ancient knowledge systems with contemporary learning methodologies. Equally important is the integration of education with skill development, enabling our youth to become future-ready and globally competitive,” he remarked.

The Chief Minister also acknowledged Pradhan’s distinguished public service beyond the education sector. He noted that during his tenure as Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Pradhan established a strong framework for enhancing the capabilities of India’s workforce to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving economy.

“His political journey reflects decades of dedicated public service, strategic leadership and unwavering commitment to good governance. As a trusted leader, his efforts towards public welfare continue to inspire millions across the country,” Dr. Saha said.

Expressing his gratitude, the Chief Minister wished the Union Minister continued success in serving the nation.

“I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your remarkable contributions and steadfast commitment to nation-building. I wish you good health, a bright future and continued success in your public life,” Dr. Saha added.
