CM Dr Manik Saha to inaugurate tourism projects at Jirania on December 05: Sushanta inspects preparations

Agartala, 4^th January 2026:    Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced that tomorrow in the presence of Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, the foundation stone will be laid for the project “Tripura Traditional Village and Music Experience Development” under Swadesh Darshan 2.0 at Sachindranagar in Jirania. Alongside, a land worship and stone-laying ceremony will be held for the establishment of a new entertainment park modeled after Kolkata’s Nicco Park.

Speaking about the preparations, the Minister said: “This initiative by the Tourism Department will mark a significant step in enhancing cultural and recreational experiences in Tripura. Today afternoon, I visited the venue along with officials, public representatives, and local residents to oversee the final stage of preparations.”
