Agartala, September 17, 2023: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Nursing Home in Narsingar on Sunday, September 17, to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 73rd birthday. He distributed fruits and sweets among the residents of the old age home and interacted with them.
He discussed the activities of the state and central government and highlighted the achievements of the Prime Minister. He said that the Prime Minister has made India a world leader in the G-20 and has worked for the welfare of the people of every section of the society. He said that the Prime Minister has also suggested a project for the development of Tripura and has given directions to reach the last person of the society.
The residents of the old age home welcomed the Chief Minister with flowers and expressed their admiration for the Prime Minister. They said that if Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister, the country will move forward in the coming days. They also praised the Chief Minister for his work in the state and said that he has modeled the state after Hira.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday during his visit to Delhi. He had a long discussion with him regarding the development and overall progress of the state. He also discussed the by-elections of the two state assemblies and received congratulations from the Prime Minister for BJP’s victory.
The Chief Minister said that the industrial sector is developing in the state and many investors are coming from outside the state. He said that he discussed with the Prime Minister what initiatives the state government has taken in their interest and what they can do in the coming days. He said that the state government is working under the guidance of the Prime Minister and is committed to solving the problems of every people of the state.
