Agartala, November 28, 2022: Inaugurating the “Rozgar Mela” at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan here, Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha on Monday handed over offer letters among 333 candidates under various departments.
In this inaugural ceremony of the “Rozgar Mela”, Chief Minister was accompanied by Education minister Ratanlal Nath, Industries and Commerce minister Santana Chakma, Labour minister Bhagaban Chandra Das, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, DGP Amitabh Ranjan and others.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Dr Saha said “Earlier the government was run from the party office, now the government is run from Mahakaran’s office. Rising above party affiliation, the present government is working for the interests of the people of all sections of the society.”
“The current government is working to achieve the goal of commitment made in providing income in every household. However, the present government does not believe in this policy of working for everyone in one house. The previous government had left seven and a half lakh unemployed youths. But now, during the current government regime, a lot has been reduced”, he added.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for initiating efforts of “Rozgar Mela”, he said “This fair is being organized in every state and Tripura is not left behind. I congratulate all the candidates who are getting offer of appointment in this mela. The government cannot provide jobs to everyone, but mindset should be developed so that jobs can be created. The government is continuously working to create job opportunities for the job seeking youth.”
In this “Rozgar Mela”, offer letters were given to 126 under graduate teacher posts, 3 LDC posts, and 4 group-D posts in the School Education department. Apart from this, 92 people have been given offer letters for the post of Special Educators in Secondary Education department, 6 people have been given the post of Assistant Professors in the Department of Higher Education.
Simultaneously, offer letters were distributed to 28 LDC-Group C posts and 11 Group-D posts in Fisheries, Forest, Land Settlement, Panchayat, Police, Revenue, Science and Technology, People’s Welfare, Urban Development and Youth Welfare and Sports Departments. Three Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers were given appointment letters in the Department of Social Welfare and Social Education. 60 people were given appointment letter in TRLM project in this day’s ceremony.
