CM launches Amar Sarkar web portal to deliver government benefits to people

Agartala, November 17, 2022: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Thursday officially inaugurated the launch of ‘Amar Sarkar’ web portal at Muktadhara Auditorium here in presence of Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma.

Notably, various problems and complaints of the people will be registered through the village and village committee level workers in this URL https://amarsarkar.tripura.gov.in/. Altogether, 78 departments including Rural Development (Panchayat) departments have been included in this portal.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Dr Saha said “The state government is ‘my government’. May this feeling be created in all people and to create this feeling, the government is constantly working to solve the needs and various problems of the common people.”“The prime direction of the state government is to deliver the benefits of the people-oriented projects of the central and state governments to the people which is possible through technology. Laying emphasis on the use of technology, the government wants that there should be no deficiency anywhere”, he added.

In view of this objective, the web portal ‘Amar Sarkar’ has been launched which will act as a bridge between the government and the people.

Apart from proper implementation of central and state government welfare projects at village and village committee level, the Chief Minister said various problems and grievances of the people can be raised from village level to block, district and state level through this portal. Speaking in the launching ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma said that the main objective of the state government is to reach the people with various developmental programs of the government. The Secretariat will be linked with the Gram Panchayat through the ‘Amar Sarkar’ portal. So he laid special emphasis on the training required to use this portal. He said that upgrading Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) is very important in making Gram Panchayat the voice of people.

On the occasion, Additional Director of Rural Development department Prasun Dey, Special Secretary Dr Sandeep N Rathore and Deputy Director Jaydeep Chakraborty spoke in this programme.
