Agartala: September 06. Day after meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President JP Nadda, Tripura Chief Minister on Tuesday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at New Delhi.Chief Minister Dr Saha left for New Delhi on 4th September and met the PM Modi and Nadda yesterday.
After meeting with union minister Shah, Tripura CM has said that he has proposed before the union minister to set up two more IR battalions. Tripura has at present two IR battalions.“Today I met with Hon’ble Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji of Government of India. It is proposed to set up two more IR battalions in the state. Also, other important issues were discussed. He assured to provide necessary assistance”, Saha wrote on his facebook.
