Agartala, January 17: The Congress party organized a protest march in Udaipur city on Wednesday, demanding 15-point charter of demands from the central government ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The march, which started from the district Congress Bhavan at Jamtala in Udaipur, was led by district congress president Titon Pal and former MLA. The marchers raised slogans against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its policies.

Speaking to the media, Titon Pal accused the BJP of failing to deliver on its promises of improving education, health, and employment. He said that the BJP came to power for the second time by giving false assurances to the people, but cheated them after coming to power.

He also claimed that the BJP will not be able to retain power in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, as the people have lost faith in them. He said that the Congress party will fight for the rights and welfare of the people.
