COVID-19 cases spike: 414 people infected and 232 recovered in last 24 hours

Agartala: July 22. Tripura recorded 414 positive cases of COVID-19 with a positivity rate of 10.29 percent in the last 24 hours while 232 persons recovered. The state Health department on Friday released a Media Bulletin and it revealed that a total of 4,022 samples comprising 3,949 RATs and 73 RTPCRs were tested.

Among these tested samples, a total of 414 positive cases were recorded comprising 396 of RATs and 18 of RTPCRs. However, 232 patients recovered in last 24 hours. Out of 414 positive cases, 137 of them are from West Tripura district, 21 in Sepahijala district, 42 in Gomati district, 40 in Dhalai district, 46 in North Tripura district, 32 in Unakoti district and 84 in South Tripura district and 12 in Khowai district, the bulletin added.

Till now, altogether 25,21,926 samples were tested and 1,04,066 people were found positive across the state while 921 persons passed away and patients recovered are 1,00,824.
