Agartala Jan 14: With merely few days left for the announcement of poll dates, political parties in Tripura have geared up election campaigning.
In view of the 2023 assembly elections, prime opposition CPI-M organized a massive bike rally under the leadership of CPI-M Banamalipur assembly constituency leader Amal Chakraborty.
Speaking from the rally here on Saturday, the CPI-M leaders castigated the BJP’s ‘anti-people misrule’ and said that people of Tripura cannot have faith in the ‘fake promises’ of BJP.“The BJP that changes state president for 3 times in a term and chief minister for 2 times in its first term itself is definitely not capable enough to provide ‘Sushashan’ to the people of Tripura”, said Amal Chakraborty.
“The people of Tripura have also seen through their evil designs; politically conscious voters of Tripura will not fall for the fake and false promises of BJP and the huge falsehood dished out by the BJP leadership” he added. The CPI-M urged commoners of all sections to unite in the struggle to establish rule of law and restore democracy in the state.
