Agartala Jan 14: Chief minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday laid the foundation for Improvement and Beautification of Nagerjala Pond under 8-Twon Bordowali assembly constituency.
Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, Deputy Mayor Manika Das Dutta among others remained present on the occasion.
Addressing the program chief minister said, “The state government is committed to development of the state and its people”.“There is no need of any movement or protest as the government itself has the motive and good will to provide everything”, he added.
Dr Saha also urged the local clubs in the area to come forward and take active steps in combating drug menace in the area.“Clubs should ensure Zero-tolerance against drugs an din turn can engage the youths for various recreational and sports activities”, he added.
