CPIM appeals to for unity of political parties to oust BJP

Agartala: August 05. After Congress, now the principal opposition CPIM has appealed all the national political parties and regional to come together to oust the BJP to restore the rule of law and to revive the democracy.

Addressing a press conference, CPIM state secretary Jitendra Chowdhury said today morning the CPIM state committee meeting held in which the condition of the state along with burning issues was discussed.

 “There is no work, crisis of food across the state. A grim situation is prevailing in the state. No works are being generated under MNREGA, workers are not receiving wages and betrayals of youths are continuing. The condition of Agartala city is also not good”, he said.

He however alleged that there is rampant in the corruption in light house project, construction of National Highway and in the construction of Tripurasundari Temple.

“Many news published but not a single department has given any clarification. The education department is looting the money of poor people in the name of Vidyajyoti Scheme. There is a crisis of teacher and students are protesting but no steps from the ministers”, he said.

He however alleged that in Tripura there is nothing like Law and Order and democracy.

“Even tourists coming from foreign countries are coming under attacks. Law and order completely destroyed. Attacks on Opposition are rising. I appeal to all national and regional parties to come together to oust BJP for restoring Law and Order and in saving the democracy”, Chowdhury told reporters.
