CPIM branch office in Sonamura vandalized, party alleges political motive

Agartala, 27th January 2024 :   The branch office of the CPIM in Sonamura assembly constituency was vandalized by unidentified miscreants on Friday night.

The incident came to light on Saturday morning when the local residents informed the Rabindranagar Anchal Committee secretary of the party. The police were also alerted and reached the spot to investigate.

A member of the branch office claimed that the vandalism was a politically motivated attack by the opponents of the Left Front.

He said that this was not the first time that their office was targeted and that they had faced similar attempts of breaking in before. He added that the office had all the necessary documents and permissions.
