Agartala, 5th April 2024:  During campaigning for the upcoming by-election in the 7-Ramnagar assembly constituency, Ratan Das, the candidate nominated by CPIM-led INDI Alliance, expressed grave concerns over the lack of developmental progress in the area over the past six years. Das highlighted that while the region had seen significant development during the tenure of the Left Front government, there has been a notable absence of such progress under the BJP administration.

Addressing supporters, Das asserted that the BJP’s track record over the last decade has been marred by inefficiency and corruption, labeling them as the most corrupt party. He emphasized that people are disillusioned with the current government and are prepared to express their discontent through the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and by-elections.

During his campaign activities, Das engaged with local residents and party workers across various areas, including Dasmighat in the capital, rallying support for the India Alliance’s agenda. With concerns mounting over the lack of development and dissatisfaction with the ruling party, the upcoming by-election in Ramnagar Assembly Constituency is poised to be a crucial turning point in the political landscape.
