CPIM opens party office, holds protest rally in Bishalgarh

Agartala, November 29, 2022: After a gap of almost four and half years, the Bishalgarh sub-divisional committee of CPIM re-opened its party office and held a protest march in the Bishalgarh market on Tuesday.

Labelling an allegation against BJP-backed miscreants of raiding the house of CPIM South Anchal committee member Binay Bhushan Nath in the dark of night and assaulted him physically. In protest to this attack, Bishalgarh CPIM sub-divisional committee organized a protest march from Office Tilla to Bishalgarh Bazar.

CPIM Bishalgarh sub-divisional committee secretary Partha Pratim Majumder, youth leader Gopal Deb, student leader Palash Chakraborty and other workers and supporters were present in this protest.

On this day, the procession circumambulated the Vishalgarh market and party’s sub-divisional secretary Partha Pratim Majumdar told media persons that the people of all parts of the state should come forward to maintain peace and harmony in the entire state including Bishalgarh.

He also said that the Chief Minister of the state has said in various places that good governance is going on in the state and the attack constituted by the alleged ruling party-backed hooligans is a model of good governance. He said the BJP government of the state is not able to provide any security to the common people.

On this day, CPIM sub-divisional leader Majumdar called upon all the people to come forward against the BJP forces and bring back democracy in the state. He said that no political violence will be tolerated in Bishalgarh. He also urged the CPIM workers and supporters to be prepared and resist against the attack.
