Agartala, 25th July 2026: A dead body was recovered on Saturday morning near Trishabari market adjacent to Teliamura Railway Station, sparking shock and concern among locals. The deceased has been identified as Molen Debbarma.
Reportedly, local shopkeepers arrived to open their shops as usual when they discovered Debbarma’s lifeless body lying under the open shed of a shop near the station. Alarmed by the sight, they raised a commotion, drawing a crowd to the spot before informing Teliamura police.
Teliamura police station promptly reached the scene and transported the body to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital. Family sources revealed that Debbarma was habitually intoxicated, and his brother suspects substance abuse may have led to his death. However, the exact cause remains uncertain until the post-mortem examination is conducted.
Hospital sources confirmed that the body is currently preserved at Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital, where the autopsy will be carried out to determine the precise cause of death.
