Agartala, 4th October 2025 :  A decomposed body was recovered at Kalsi Salbagan area this morning. It is reported that the residents alerted Baikhora Police Station after detecting a foul smell and locating the body in a nearby forested area.

Upon receiving the information, police personnel rushed to the scene and initiated efforts to identify the deceased. After extensive inquiries, the body was confirmed to be that of Tuhila Mog, a 32-year-old resident of Kalsi. OC of Baikhora Police Station Bishnu Chandra Das informed the media personnel that Mog also owned a house in Santirbazar and had last been seen traveling there from his Kolsi residence on September 30. He never returned home.

The family had not reported his absence to the authorities, as Mog was known to frequently stay away for work-related reasons. His wife stated that his prolonged absence did not initially raise concern.

Due to the advanced state of decomposition, police conducted an on-site post-mortem examination. However, the exact cause of death remains unclear. Authorities have registered a case of unnatural death and are pursuing further investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding Mog’s demise.
