Agartala, August 04, 2023: Nabarupa Saha , a skilled psychologist hailing from the capital city Agartala, has been making waves in the medical community with her unwavering commitment to curing cancer patients at Apna Ghar. Over the past seven months, she has diligently worked to transform the lives of eleven cancer patients through dedicated counseling and motivation.
Upon joining Apna Ghar, Nabarupa faced the challenge of motivating patients mentally to combat the deadly cancer disease. Back then, the facility was catering to only three patients, and the pressing need for consistent support was evident.
However, Nabarupa expertise and relentless efforts quickly made a remarkable impact. By conducting regular counseling sessions from 8:30 am to 5 pm every day, she managed to inspire the patients effectively. As a result, the number of patients under her care significantly increased, reaching eleven in just seven months.
Nabarupa Saha holds an Honors degree in Psychology from MBB College and completed her internship at Modern Psychiatric Hospital. Her dedication to her profession is fueled by a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of those battling cancer.
Proudly supporting her daughter’s noble endeavor, Nabarupa ‘s father, Naresh Chandra Saha, is a businessman, while her mother, Chumki Saha, eagerly anticipates her bright future ahead.
