Agartala, 12th September 2025 : G-Next Model School proudly announces that Master Deep Das, a Class X student, has emerged as one of the Top Ten Innovators of Tripura and has been selected for the National Level Exhibition & Project Competition (INSPIRE MANAK 2024-25).
Deep’s innovation, “Rescue Eye”, is a breakthrough device designed to provide early warning of natural calamities and to conduct real-time rescue operations. Supported by drone technology, Rescue Eye can cover an affected area with a 360-degree surveillance angle, helping to save lives and property during disasters.
The innovation was developed under the guidance of Sri Sankar Datta, SUPW Trainer of G-Next Model School, whose mentorship played a crucial role in shaping the project.
This remarkable achievement makes Deep Das the second student from G-Next Model School to reach the national stage in a single academic session, following the success of Raj Biswas, who was selected for Prerana Utsav (National Level).
Speaking on this proud moment, Smt. Purabi Chowdhury, Principal of G-Next Model School, said:

Founded in 2012 by Sri Rabi Chowdhury, an alumnus of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Educationist, and Rural Development Professional, G-Next Model School has been striving to deliver Navodaya and international-standard education to children from SC, ST, OBC, and economically backward families of West Howaibari and neighboring villages.
A unique feature of G-Next Model School is that most students receive free education without any government aid, apart from those enrolled under Section 12(1)(C) of the Right to Education Act, 2009. Despite financial constraints, the school has emerged as one of the most innovative schools not only in Khowai District but also across Tripura and at the National level, with its state-of-the-art R&D Lab and the use of cutting-edge educational technology.
Over the years, the school has achieved:
• 100% results in TBSE Board Examinations since inception.
• Representation at Prerana Utsav (National Level).
• INSPIRE MANAK selections at the National Level.
• Achievements in Cricket, Football, Quiz Competitions, and Cultural Activities.
• Alumni excelling in higher education across various disciplines.
Deep Das, whose father is a small vegetable seller, stands as a living testimony of the school’s mission – proving that quality education can transform lives and create innovators from the grassroots.
G-Next Model School deserves support from Government and Non-Government agencies through CSR initiatives and other schemes, so that it can continue to empower rural children and create future leaders and innovators.
