Deputy Speaker Ram Prasad Paul commences ‘Jana Kalyan Padayatra’ on Bharat Kesari Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s Balidan Diwas

Agartala, 24th June 2024 :    The Monday marks a significant day as Deputy Speaker and MLA Ram Prasad Paul of the 18-Suryamaninagar assembly constituency launched a ‘Jana Kalyan Padayatra’ from 6 AM to 6 PM starting June 23rd. This initiative coincides with Bharat Kesari Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s ‘Balidan Diwas’, commemorating the sacrifice of the eminent leader.

On the second day of his padayatra, accompanied by party workers from the 18-Suryamaninagar Mandal, Paul expressed his commitment to understanding the needs and issues of his constituency. He stated, “On this holy occasion of ‘Balidan Diwas’, I, along with karyakartas of my mandal, have taken to the streets to assess the progress made, identify areas needing further development, and understand the challenges faced by residents of the constituency. Based on our findings, initiatives will be undertaken to enhance the well-being of the constituency and its people.”

During the padayatra, Paul and his team engaged with local residents to gain firsthand insights into developmental achievements and ongoing challenges.

Paul’s proactive approach through the ‘Jana Kalyan Padayatra’ underscores his commitment to grassroots engagement and responsive governance, reflecting the spirit of service and dedication epitomized by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
