Agartala, 5th October 2025 : In the dead of night on Sunday, a massive fire reduced a family’s home to ashes in the Joynagar Chakra Sangha area, leaving them completely devastated. The blaze consumed the house, a car, a scooter, and nearly all household belongings, creating widespread shock in the neighborhood.
According to local sources, the homeowner, Gobinda Pal, is currently residing in Kolkata. The house was occupied by tenants, who reportedly noticed smoke and flames erupting from one of the rooms. The fire quickly spread, engulfing an entire room within moments.
Firefighters rushed to the scene promptly, deploying three fire engines to control the blaze. After hours of tireless effort, the fire was finally brought under control.
By then, however, the house had been completely destroyed. Locals reported that none of the belongings could be saved. A room, a car, a scooter, and numerous valuable items were completely reduced to ashes.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and officers from the West Agartala Police Station have arrived at the scene to begin an investigation. Meanwhile, the affected family is left heartbroken, having lost everything in the tragedy.
