Agartala, February 05, 2023: Dharmanagar police sealed a shop in the old motor stand of the city on Sunday on the allegation of theft of e-rickshaw batteries for a long time.
Based on that complaint, the police of Dharmanagar police station conducted searches at various places. On Sunday morning, they found over 250 batteries at Trivedi Brothers at the old motor stand in Dharmanagar.
One of the Trivedis, head of Trivedi Brothers told the police that he could not show all the documents immediately as today is Sunday but he has other documents including GST of each battery.The damaged batteries are collected here from various parts of Dharmanagar and Kumarghat etc.
However, due to not being able to show any valid documents, the police of Dharmanagar police station sealed the godown with the e-rickshaw battery on his two and a half hundred.Police said if the owner can show valid documents, the shop or godown will be opened otherwise legal action will be taken against this company.
