Agartala, January 02, 2023: Like every year, this year also Dharmanagar Ramkrishna Seva Samiti celebrated ‘Kalpataru’ festival on Sunday last at Ramakrishna Ashram, Dharmanagar.
The program started auspiciously at 3 PM. This fantastic festival is celebrated through various programs. The program consisted of song writing – lasting from 3.5 PM to 3.50 PM and the participants were Aparna Sharma, Soma Banerjee, Chitra Purkayastha, Chandra Sengupta, Devadrita Bhattacharya, Maharnab Debnath took part in tabla. Shivani Das directed the entire program.
At 3:50 PM, a 5-minute chanting meditation begins. Thereafter, from 3:55 to 4:40, the significance of Kalpataru Divas was explained by Reverend Srimat Swami Girijananda Ji Maharaj, Principal, Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Kailashahar followed by music performed by Sabita Bhattacharya, Jayanti Bhattacharya, Rupali Purakayastha, Soumyadeep Bhattacharya from 4: 40 pm to 5 pm.
After that, chanting meditation continued from 5:00 PM to 5:50 PM and again from 5:50 to 6:10 the Kalpataru festival ends with Ramakrishna Sharanam.
This festival was attended by numerous devotees, disciples and visitors. Ramakrishna Seva Samiti Dharmanagar as well as the management committee had tireless efforts to make the program beautiful and successful.
