Agartala, 30th July 2026 : A district-level workshop on the upcoming Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign was organized today at Unakoti Kalakshetra. The program brought together vaccination nodal officers from all health centers, MPS, community health officers, and members of the District Health and Family Welfare Society.
The workshop was attended by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Shirshendu Chakma, District Immunization Officer Dr. Sandipan Bhattacharjee, and UNICEF District Coordinator Dr. Debashish Pal.
During the session, all aspects of the campaign were thoroughly discussed. The campaign will run from August 1 to August 25, 2026. In the first week, ASHA workers will conduct a house-to-house headcount survey, followed by the vaccination drive starting on August 10.
Detailed discussions were held on each format related to the campaign, including the proper use of the U-WIN portal for data entry.
This initiative aims to ensure maximum coverage and effective implementation of the measles-rubella vaccination program across the district.
